FREE TECHNO will be welcoming LA Techno stalwart Truncate for our first-ever activation at Salesforce Park on August 23rd!

David Flores (Truncate) is well known for his pivotal role in shaping the Los Angeles techno world since the early 2000’s. He’s no stranger to performing on some of the world’s most iconic stages, including Berghain (Berlin), Fabric (London), Concrete (Paris), Womb (Tokyo), and Movement Festival (Detroit), to name just a few. Releases on prestigious labels such as Mote Evolver, Figure, Soma, and Blueprint throughout the years have solidified Flores’s presence as an internationally acclaimed artist. His label Truncate has become a globally recognized mainstay for deep, raw, and stripped-back techno since its inception in 2011, earning him support from the likes of Ben Klock, Marcel Dettmann, Chris Liebing, Speedy J, DVS1, Luke Slater, Ben Sims, and many more.

Joining him was a mix of new and familiar faces:
Adra
Saire
Zachary Noel

As always, FREE TECHNO was for the public and was intended to be enjoyed by community members from all walks of life. Attendees were asked to leave pets at home, as Salesforce Park did not allow animals. Refreshments were available at Barebottle Brewing, conveniently located on-site, as well as at various restaurants on the ground floor of the transit center.

The event was positioned as a safe and inclusive space for all to dance and express themselves freely. Attendees were encouraged to stay safe, support one another, and help transform the park into a culturally enriching hub for self-expression and community.
